It was always going to be tough - 5 - 4 last time we played them. The cold sleet didn't help but Menston started the game well and although going behind early on had plenty of chances and should have easily ended the half in the lead. Grassington started the second half a little more energetically and managed to grab two early goals in the half. After Thomas had to leave the game the team struggled to create chances but after a while started to put some good moves together and Dhugal eventually got a well deserved goal. Grassington managed to pinch one back but we finished the game strongly and considering the cold and the numbers it was a fantastic effort and the boys should be proud that they never let the difficult conditions get them down.
